On foot
A. The road strarts at the lido area in Molveno and goes up to Val delle Seghe, the valley follows the path of the Rio Massò that from the Brenta goes to dive into Molveno Lake. This path winds through the woods and the path goes overlapping for some stretches to the dirt road that connects the refuge to the town of Molveno. Journey time: 1 hour and 30.
B. The path starts from Via Belvedere, at the top of the village of Molveno and follows the signs for Pradel. The first part is a cemented forest road, but soon a fork with indication Pradel deviates into a more characteristic path in the woods. In about an hour you reach the Pradel plateau, from here you continue along the path SAT 340 towards Rifugio Croz dell’Altissimo, which will lead you to the shelter in about 1 hour.
C. From Andalo it is possible to start directly from the village (Maso Ghezzi) for an excursion not difficult but rather long that along the forest road leads directly to Pradel in Molveno. It is however possible to reach “locality Valbiole” by car (it’s a dirt road). From Valbiole continue towards Pradel, reachable in about 45 minutes walk.
From this point, follow the SAT 340 path towards Rifugio Croz dell’Altissimo.

By cableway
Thanks to the new cable car that starts from Via Nazionale in Molveno, the Pradel plateau can be reached in a few minutes. From here follow the SAT 340 path which takes about an hour to the Croz dell’Altissimo Refuge.
To reach Croz dell’Altissimo mountain hut it’s enought to buy the “Molveno – Pradel” ticket (890 mt – 1350 mt). For prices and timetables, visit the website www.molveno.it.
